POSITION DETAILS:

Located in the San Jose headquarters, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Deliver world-class Image Quality for camera modules across various automotive applications (such as smart backup, digital mirror, surround view, in-cabin monitoring, ADAS) and CFAs (RGGB, RCCB, RGB-IR)
  • Identify, define and drive tuning process improvements by developing new test methodologies, IQ metrics, or tuning tools
  • Create Image Quality enhancements by implementing ISP algorithm improvements in GEO’s embedded software environment
  • Develop and support image sensor drivers and optimize their performance
  • Support GEO’s Application Engineering team and customers to productize GEO camera processors for optimal Image Quality for their target application (either human or machine vision).
  • Develop training materials and documentation for applications engineers and customers
  • Mentor colleagues on Image Quality and Image Processing concepts
  • Ideate proof of concepts to highlight ISP technology strengths

 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MS degree with emphasis in imaging science (EE, CS or physics)
  • 3-5 years of professional hands on experience successfully delivering to market fully tuned ISP pipeline for automotive, mobile, consumer, industrial or medical products
  • 3-5 years of hands on experience in image quality algorithm development, testing and validation, tuning and troubleshooting in image sensors and/or ISPs
  • Knowledgeable in color science, image quality metrics and ISP imaging pipelines
  • Comfortable with scripting languages such as Python or Matlab/Octave
  • C/C++ programming skills, embedded environment required
  • Data driven mindset, scientific methodology and hands-on experimental abilities
